Another one bytes the dust...

hey hey another one bytes the dust..... 1st Tranny gone at 61,400. Brought it in for the 60,000 mile service and to fix the heated seats and i told them to check the tranny cause it has been shifting hard into reverse and the 2-1 shifts. Got the call yesterday they are replacing the tranny under warrenty and fixing the heated seats under the extended acura car warrenty as well..

Time to enjoy the brand new loaded 2007 MDX they gave me as a loaner. THis thing is sick, back up cam, navigation, xm everything is activated and working too.

Is your car even included in the tranny warranty? You have a '99 so you have the 4-speed.

I notice your from morseville so I was wondering what acura dealership you used? Anyway though im also young and basically we dont get loaner cars which sucks but once we are 21 we are good to go. I would LOVE to have a loaner to play around with but i got a few years to go.

Yes, the 1999 TLs are also covered by the extended warranty. But many 1999 TLs are close to passing, or have already passed, the 93 month expiration date.

Don't feel bad...mine got replaced also. It didn't fail or have any signs of failing....it was fine. The case of the tranny showed signs of leakage, so they replaced the whole thing.
