Welp. I'm part of the dead tranny club.
It had always had a weird gradual gear change from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th and the dealer checked it 4 times no less and said there was no problem...
Yesterday, out of the blue, I gradually pulled out and when the car hit 2nd it chirped like mad and then wouldn't shift to third...It's cooked...
I figured I'd take it in Monday and drive gingerly as it really didn' mess up from every light, but some dork in a mid 90's Mustang GT wanted some later that night, and I figured if she was gonna die, she should go out fighting...I still had him by a car length--twice, to around 85 both times...He got behind some other cars on purpose at the third light...
She was fried when I got up this morning to take her in but she died like a true Samurai...
