another header ?
im thinking about ordering obx headers. i know some of u dont approve of them but i cant afford comptech. i was curious if obx made a size to fit my vehicle. 2002 TL-P. i searched and only came up with this, H9806 Accord 98+ 3.0L SOHC 16V n/a $599.00 , would this fit? im probably not searching in the right place. please help.
i already know about the other header names and cant afford them either. couldnt find any on e-bay.

you have alot of options now. Comptech, Alphawerks, OBX, Stone Racing, and now Megan. Of these, Megan is currently the cheapest cost wise. However, they have only been out shortly and there are no long term reviews to speak of.

The only headers that have decent reviews consistanly on this site are the Comptechs ($1200) and the Alphawerks ($600). If you are looking into getting a decent set of headers you should be purchasing one of the two above. If you do a search on OBX headers you will find that many, not all, have had problems with cracking and some not fiting correctly the first time around...

DO NOT[U] get the OBX headers unless you want headaches. I have them and am planning on switching back to the stock manifolds soon. The headers rust, crack, rattle/vibrate at 2,600RPMs. They just aren't worth even the $250 you can pick them up for. I've known 3 people with them and we've all had the same thing happen...spend a little more and get quality headers...wish I did!!!

Honestly I wouldn't go with OBX b/c of their random quality issues..
But if you want something between OBX and Comptech there is a AlphaWerks header group buy going on..

Unless you're in a rush to get headers, I'd wait to see how the Megan headers hold up on ppl's cars after a few months... There are a lot of ppl. w/ V6 accords that have had them in for a while now...haven't heard any complaints yet. I'm getting Megan headers put in sometime this month. $175 in a groupbuy!
