ANOTHER Alignment/H&R Question

Im ready to install my H&Rs, my question is this :

Do I have to get an alignment done immediately after they are installed if Im going to get one in two weeks after they settle ? If $$ was no object, of course I would, but I dont want to spend the $$ if I dont have to. In the past, Ive always just had them aligned right after the install, never after they settled.

Thanks

Most everyone here seems to agree that you should wait 2 weeks for the springs to settle before getting an alignment.

I had mine aligned a week and a half or so after I had the springs installed, but it was purely for scheduling reasons. I don't think the springs will settle appreciably (especially after only 2 weeks or so) such that they'd alter the alignment. Get the alignment done at your convenience.

Cant wait till mine are in ! As far as the alignment, your car will go straight, but your tires are going to be toed-out, wearing them more on the inside of the tire. From a rearview, your tires will appear like this : / \ instead of this : | |

Where did you go in NJ, and what did you pay ?

OK... I'll be werid...

My shop had the allignment done right away. I had total second thoughts about 5 miles down the road. It was like I was riding on a skateboard, and the allignment was off by a tad.

That was a month ago. The allignment is great, the ride is awesome.

I don't really think it's a big whoop either way.

which H & R's do you get? i know there are several (stages?) to the H & R spring line...

do you need a camber kit or anything else to correct the alignment?
