haven't decided ...don't plan on tracking the car anytime soon nor is it daily driven so no clue, and to answer your question..yes, I have looked into multiple shops that rebuild transmissions including Dr.Evil Transmissions

Hello All. Just an update. I wasn't able to witness the dyno session on my car today however the shop just called me. I don't feel bad about the numbers at all. They are supposed to put the graphs on a cd or disk something, I forgot what they told me. I hope I remembered the numbers correctly so don't quote me ....I will advise more once I pick the car up. I believe this was at 6psi.

Yeah but you got a 6 speed now!! .....u going to stay with the charger or go custom turbo? ..or haven't decided yet?

See if I can gain some more power when I get this custom 3 inch exhaust within the next 2-3 weeks.

i still have the charger/ic laying here so i might just put it on the 6sp. can't seem to find the time to put everything on with all that's going on. might need a vacation just to put mods on the car.

Cool shit pimp! I'm sure you will get higher numbers on yoru 6 speed than you did with the auto.

By the way, my numbers were on a dynojet.

blk2001tlon19s, maybe I missed it but I know you were beefing up your tranny...but have you ever considered the 6spd conversaion as to minimize drivetrain loss and make it more fun to drive?

Actually I have thought about it. The shop that worked on my car did a 6speed swap on a v6 accord once, they did say it was a lot of work. If I could find a totaled Cl-s 6 speed front clip ...maybe I would look into...honestly, I really haven't decided however I have thought about that swap. Then again you never know.

honestly, you aren't going to like it. Getting traction with the automatic is one thing but actually going from the automatic to the 6-speed is a nightmare with high horsepower numbers. It's scary fast on the highway and 99% of the cars you'll run into won't be able to keep up but anytime you need to punch it at low speeds will be nothing but tire spin and or clutch slip through 3rd gear. Kinda sucks. I think scalbert was going through tires every 4,000 miles or so.

Shit...more than I wanted to pay originally however there are different things you can do to decrease or increase the cost of it. Also keep in mind, manifold either has to be completely custom or have an aftermarket header modified. I say, depending on what parts you should 6-8.5k ballpark.

The drive to work today sucked because of the ice on the roads! I did hit full boost once and the dump tube is kinda sorta kinda loud..pulled quickly though

thanks for the info bro. i was thinking about that too, since with the auto it was already crazy fast.

Like I told DJ, if you get the 6speed swap, your car will lagg out in the first thousand rpms, because the engine still thinks its in auto, the reason why i know this, is because the same thing happen to the guy that got that other turbo TL and it happen to my brothers steroid corrolla. Any maunal swap you get, you will get lagg. But as you start reaching the higher rpm, your find! So take my advice, dont race anybody from a dig, cause they more then like will put feet on you in the first few feet, I don't care if you have a good launch or not, its still going to lag out! Thats why, I think you should just go with a torque converter, cause anybody that you race with a stick, you will stick with no matter what because you will never lose power to your engine!
