the amount of power from these mods.....

anyone ever think about how much abuse our tranny takes? if you throw in headers and a 50 shot nos.....at the crank we almost added a whole 100 hp....not to mention all the other stuff....do you guys think our tranny would hold with these mods

intake 5whp
headers 32 whp
res (if it come true) 20whp
nos 50 shot 40 whp
exhaust- 1whp

sum it up thats already...98 HP gain.....at the wheels not to mention what it might be at the crank where the tranny really feels it

You do realize that you don't just add up the gains like that. Different mods will give you different gain in different area of the RPM band. For example, if Mod A gives 10 whp between 2000-4000 rpm and Mod B gives 10 whp between 5000-7000 rpm, then when you dyno your car, your "peak" power (which people only sees) is 10 whp. All of those mods will definitely won't give you 98 hp or whp.

i think i've read somewhere here that our trannies are designed to deal with around 350hp

but then again the g35 people or the 2% of the unfortunate TL owners will come here and say the trannies can take 0 hp...
you be the judge
