my AEM cai came yesterday as i was doing some research on the DIY cai install today. as i was looking thru, i figure my package was missing this black tube shape rubber that connect/wrap the CAI to the Engine....did you guys had this?? or is it just me being a stupid dumb ass brought in this useless thread.....

yea u need it to clap/tighten down to the TB

 

i believe thats a key piece. without that u wont get a well working system.

and yea, it just seals off all the other air leaks that can occur, so leaving it love, really if u didnt put that rubber on, the cai itself will be lose, and can come off during driving, and pickin up dirty air..
