I was wondering if anyone knows when they will release altezzas for the TL? all the TL's I see are the red and white ones and although it looks nice there should be something more original.
Also, I'm going to clear my headlights, but I was wondering if I can get a ticket for that?

 

please don't do this to a TL. it is soooo RICE!! not to mention UGLY! :p

I will probably be speaking for most of my buddies here in the TL Forum. As discussed before, NO ALTEZZAS please for our cars. Since you are a Newbie, I gotta b*tch slap some sense out of you. Don't you understand TLs are not those rice up civics and integras that you see on the streets. This is a luxury sedan and it will remain that way. So if you want altezzas, I think you should look somewhere else.

sell ur TL and use that $$ to buy a civic with 10 sets of Altezza....

 

I bet if they already produced them many people on this forum would have them. Just my opinion. I honestly think if any of yall had the chance to get them, you would. Don't deny it. I'll be honest the only altezzas I like are the carbon fiber type that are red/clear. Even then, I don't like them that much.

 

IMO, i dont think altezzas would look good on the TL. its too classy to have somethin like that on, but then again its ur ride so u can do whatevaz u want

 

haha thats some mad photoshop skills..it fooled me few months ago when i was a newbie and was desperate to look for altezzas on my acura... lol... but after being on the forum for a while and thinking more of the car, its damn ugly! its not for 4 doors... if its a coupe..sure...

but i think the carbon fiber ones are ok...

 

at least it's not like some Eclipse I see all the time with six or eight of those red circular brake light (altezza style)across the whole damn tail. That is a piece of sh1t. Looks like spider eyes.

 

I see that TL is back....with those rear lights that look like bloody band aids....not for our TLs

Honestly, if you saw a TL with Altezzas it would turn your head. Don't lie! and you would be somewhat impressed.

 

Altezza lights just don't look right.... look at some of the aftermarket ones on Civic/Accord.... you can barely see the light unless you are staring right at their A$$.... IMO, not only it looks bad, it's unsafe to have them on cars!!!

I was in a parking lot and this lady with a couple of kids looked at an IS300 and said "That ain't no Lexus!" You know what she looked at on the IS? Just the rear, especially the tails... Unfortunately for Lexus/Toyota, the ricers have turned those signature tail lights into something that is not associated with "Lexus." It's kinda the same thing with designer clothes. Everyone from bling-blingers to people on welfare are wearing Nautica, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, etc. The previously upscale has become a commodity...

Yah, it would turn my head. And I would say: "Yuck!" Impressed? Definitely impressed for the dude who has the guts to put one on!

 

Not to mention F-150s!!! I almost lost control of my car cause I was laughing so hard the first time I saw one of those.

 

I think these Altezza lights are the most horrnedous thing you can do to a car...they are just hiddious, and no if i had the chance to get it for a TL not only would i not get it, i would have alot less respect for the car in general then I did in the first place. Anyone i see with one on a TL or CL I will personaly piss on them and there car. Thank You.

that makes the car look kinda cheap. you even see those on american trucks now. I'd stay away from them.

 

I would rather stick with the euro lights than altezza's...when I first saw them in Japan they were pretty sweet but now so many people have them, it's lost it's effect.

Austin519, man, you gotta chill out......rayman009 asked if they were selling Altezza's for the TL and everybody gave an answer, not quite as direct an answer as he might have wanted, but answers none-the-less.

When a company makes a product, it has to appeal to a large volume of people so it can turn a good profit. And since a lot of people who are interested in modding their TL's are on this board, I feel that Altezza's simply will not sell.

And you shouldn't get so angry......we're all friends here.

I'm very chilled out fahoumh, but tired of people acting like the experts on taste on every forum...this one, the honda acura one, the honda one...get over it. So many other topics get changed into diffent discussions all the time, so it shouldn't matter, we feel like talking about that, so we all run with that. I just don't see anything wrong with people posting on a comment. I've had many questions not fully answered because people felt like talking about something else I don't complain...

Oh and rayman...they don't make the altezzas yet I believe, and clearing your heads are okay if you have a yellowish/amber bulb. No clear/silver bulbs that shine yellow. That's illegal
