almost spun out

today, while i was coming home from school, i entered this curve at around 60 klicks. In the middle of the curve there's this pedestrian crossing painted area. At the moment i entered the painted area, my car lost traction totally, and literally i was going sideways, i was lucky i didn't spin out. Even when i had passed the painted area, those stock tires still had VERY little traction on the pavement (it was raining very slightly). There was tons of understeer, the two front tires weren't gripping at all. From this, i now rilly gotto switch out those stocks and get some bigger rims, and performance tire

the stocks are just total crap!!

you keyword mentioned here is 60 mph and raining very slightly. This might not have happened in heavy rain due to the fact that during slight rain and/or mist/drizzle the roads are at there slickest due to oils, grease, etc...being raised from the tar and onto the surface, not to mention painted surfaces are REALLY slippery even when dry (bike experience ). Lucky thing is no one got hurt and you lived to drive hard another day

depends on the curve, right?!

anyway, ditto on fact that roads are slickest during light rain and before the rain washes away all the grease/oil off the pavement
