nothing specific to your problem. a suggestion from alldata is to:
apply heat using a hairdryer to the in-car temperature sensor that is to the right of the steering column - looks like a small vent. see if something is stuck...besides that. they have suggestions for under the hood.

would it be too much to ask what the recalls are for a '99 TL-P?

I bought mine used and I want to make sure all the recalls were addressed when they were announced.

Thanks.

Under Customer Interest not under Recalls

NOV 2000 : Moonroof - Sqeaks from Moonroof seal

Nothing else for a description.

Do you need this for a 99tl? If so, I can get it off my helms manual.

02-010 is only good for vins 19UUA5.....YA000481 through YA040483.
00-020 is a product update for the front buckles.
If anyone wants vin ranges for bulletin and what not let me know.
I can do vin checks to see what recall and bulletin have been done to your car.
I can get radio and navi codes too.

anything for the rough idle at every once in a while? I know all we have to do is kill the car and wait a while but it is still an inconvenience. 2000 TL-p

There is a bulletin for a "hot soak".
Bulletin # is 01-001. Vin 19uua5....ya000001 thru ya052284.
Hope it helps. They replace the pcm and fuel pressure regulator.
Your car is out of warrant though unless you have a certified.
Pcm by itself is like $1000.
I can run your vin to see if this has been done yet?

Mr_min,

I'm bringing in my wife's 3.2(37,500 mi) into Morande Acura, Berlin CT for an oil change and tranny fluid flush this Friday. About 2-3 month's ago I noticed that when the car is started, the ventilation defaults to A/C and has to be turned-off manually. Possible you can do a search on this A/C issue?

Last Aug. Morande turned the front brake rotors and installed new pads at 30,000 mi. courtesy of a tsb I had learned about on this forum. What annoyed me was the fact that the service advisor initially quoted me $250 to do the brakes, however when I brought up the tsb the service manager readily complied as wear on the rotors and pads were within specified tolerances. Just want to have my ducks in a row for this Fri. on the A/C if necessary.

Would appreciate your help.

Thanks, Jim

Wiring diagram for the 12v+ power sources in the fake ashtray and the middle console,
2002 TL-S. For some reason they don't work and I can't find a fuse either.
Please.

What's the official procedure from Alldata on bleeding the brakes (99TL) or any year TL for that matter. I've heard several variations ie... start from front left and work your way back to the farthest caliper from the master cylinder, start from back right and work your way to the front, and I've also heard the alternate method- front left, back right, front right, back left. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, this is my 1st attempt to ask a question on here & am not exactly sure how to do so correctly so if anyone reads this, I need advice about my '99 acura tl 3.2 it overheated shortly after i bought it used at 88k mi because unbeknownst to me, the radiator was bone dry. I put coolant in it & the resovoir wasnt leaking it never overheated again but now the gasket is leaking so i dont drive it now, lest the head gasket blows which hasnt yet as there is no white smoke or clumps in the oil so long story short can anyone tell me what part i need to replace the sealant? Im not car savvy but am trying my best to protect and maintain my vehicles life since i just got it. Thank you.
