Question Alignment

I have read differing opinions on getting the TLS aligned after putting on the comptech springs. I've heard some did it right after and others waited and some didn't even need it. Who is right, and how do I really know that I need it aligned when I take it in? I mean, what if they say it needs to be and it don't?

Thanks

Get the car aligned right away.I install Comptech parts at my dealership and have not had any problems with aligning the car right away. The most common source of tire wear is out of spec toe adjustments, once the car is lowered the toe settings go way out to avoid uneccessary tire wear get the car aligned.Chances are the camber will be a touch out of spec in the rear but this to date with dozens of dozens of lowered cars on Comptech springs has not been shown to cause any problems.Jens

I agree with Jens - I had my alignment at the time of the install, and checked 8 weeks later. It was still spot on.

Most of the discussion is around staying with stock shocks or not, you'll get a pretty resounding YES on the alignment.
