You mean how to program the auto shut-off delay, right? When you exit your car, there is an adjustable period of seconds the headlights will stay on, then turn off automatically. You can adjust it in your MID, under keyless memory settings.

Unless you're refering to the flashing of headlights & blinkers when you arm or disarm your alarm. If that's the case, you really don't want your HID's to flash. Only your blinkers will flash. Again, adjust it in your MID.

Auto Headlights On...

Yeah, i just leave my headlights on (even driving during daytime), set the timer to shut them of after 30 or 60 seconds after I leave the car. When you unlock the car with the keyfob, the lights come on, helping to find the car in a crouded lot and illuminating the area. Two presses of the lock button on the fob will instantly turn out the lights. Hope this helps!

if I unlock the car and the lights come on, no matter how many times I press the lock button the lights still stay on for a little bit.

How do you program them to stay on for 30-60 seconds?

I thought it was only 10 or so.

I don't have my manual in front of me, so forgive me if this isn't exactly accurate. In the MID there is an area to personalize your settings, as you scroll through these options you'll find one for (i think) "headlight delay" simply choose the one you want and you're all set.

Does anyone know if the factory alarm is effective in preventing theft of the car? My neighbor got his Accord stolen last night and they used a slim jim to get in, but the factory alarm didn't go off or prevent them from driving it. Thanks!

Will this work on a 2001 TL-P also? I never knew about this. Read the manuel like 4 years ago.
