alarm horn problem

I just recently installed my AEM CAI and i had to turn the alarm horn reverse and then mount it above where the CAI mounts to. Now whenever i lock my car twice the horn sounds like it is "blown" or something. Like, it sounds, but its isnt like it used to be. Does anyone here know what might be wrong?
Thanks in advance,
Matt

Look at the wiring to the horn and see if it has one conductor or two. If it has one the horn probably uses the mount to make metal contact for its ground. If it has two it makes its ground somewhere else. Be sure there is good metal contact if there is only one wire connecting to it.
