My stock alarm has been going off randomly every now and then and each time i checked my car nothing was wrong with it (headlights in tack ) do u guys know whats going on?

 

Yeah, mine does that too. Everytime I'm holding my keys. I guess the keyring hit the panic button somehow.

 

My mother was having the same problem with her 2000 RL. Her inside lights and gauges were lit up but not the headlights. Also the car would not start cuz I guess the battery went down after the lights being on all night. She took it to the dealer and they tried to fix it but about 3 months later it did the same thing. She has been back to the dealer I think 4 times and just a few weeks ago, they changed her whole alarm system. They said the one in there was defective. They also said that they have never had that problem with an RL but about 3 other people with TL's had that happen.
