Alarm

How many people have an aftermarket alarm on their cars? I just feel more safer having an alarm system to cover my rims at least. If you have an alarm, what brand and options do you have on it?

I have the Clifford also. Gotta love that remote start. It gets hot in H-Town.

i had a viper 650xv on my camry that i had a while back. i liked the extra sensitive shock sensor. viper hasn't failed me yet, and the range on that thing was excellent. so much so that for my new tl, i just recently (just today actually) bought the viper 5701 which is a two-way remote system. so if someone's messing with your car, and you're in the area, it pages you on your remote. the one i got has the very slim remote w/battery that lasts 6 months. which is alot better than most two-way pager remotes.

i lost my wallet that had my spare key in it, that's why im worried and bought myself this alarm.

good thing: it has 4 aux functions for what ever you want and can be programmed to operate two cars

better thing: has a cabin temperature sensor so after you remote start the car, you can check if it's cool in the car be4 you jump out into the sun.

best thing: has a silent arm feature that if you turn it on, it makes the alarm on the car silent, but pages you. so you can come out running yourself with a bat be4 he even realizes that he's getting your attention. lol. jk

sweet, thanks for all the replies. yeah I had a clifford on my previous car and would probably get that for this car as well. I like the tilt sensors so if your car is tilted, the alarm will go off. I just put new racing harts on my TL and would like them to stay on there.
