i thought i had heard from multiple people that despite all the gimmicky features that sound cool - they are junk. (these are the alrams that have the little lcd remotes and start your car and etc. etc. etc.)

i've been told stick with Clifford, Avital, or Alpine

Didn't Alpine offer an alarm at one time (if not still doing so now)with an optional LCD remote and remote car start?
