Akebono ProACT + Brembo Blank Users ???
How well is this combo (Akebono ProACT + Brembo Blanks) holding up? Is this set-up as subject to warpage as the OEM set-up?
How many miles are you guys getting out of this combo? 50k ? 75k ?
Any noise complaints? Are you guys applying the included brake lube (inside the box) to the back of the pads?
Thanks.

Always use brake grease- if maker supplied- use their choice of product and apply to caliper slide bolts, back of pads where caliper contacts, pad end locaters and anywhere else they move.
The key to protecting rotors from warpage is
1: always install wheel lug nuts in a star pattern, in a gentle manner, torqued to 80 foot pounds and no more- no less
2: If you use the brakes hard, like track day or mountain fun runs- do a cool down drive time to stabilze rotor temp as it cools
Do a proper break in procedure for the rotors and pads for best results
Good idea to flush the brake fluid too. Once a year for normal drivers is good.

I have Akebono ProACT pads with Rotora slotted rotors for close to 20k miles and have been very happy with setup. No noise, very low dust and great in stopping. Akebono pads definately a great choise. Before I installed the Akebono pads, I used to have Axsis pads and they were very dusty. I switched after less than 500 miles on that pads.
Sorry If I did not really answer your with Brembo blanks.

Burning Brakes
in researching brakes myself, everyone loves the akebono pads. you definitely wont be disappointed. nothing conclusive about the rotors tho. you can get a full set of the akebonos from rockauto for like 100 shipped. just google the 5% off code. i got a great deal on satisfied pro ceramics, so im gonna give them a try.

I'm using brembo blanks with satisfied ceramic pads and no problems thus far with rotors warping or anything. It feels only the slightest bit more powerful than stock, but far less dust with the ceramic pads. The Akebono Pro-ACT are ceramic too, so I'd imagine it would be the same. Use the grease. It'll help with bed-in and reduce noise.
Also, if it's possible (I planned this ahead for myself and found an industrial park area I could use.) find a good area near wherever you replace your brakes and bed the pads in properly. For mine I did 10 moderate rolling stops (5mph) from 35-40mph and let the brakes cool, then did 5 hard rolling stops from 50mph and just feathered the brakes lightly the rest of the way home.
