i hear with air ride you cant go over 100mph... true?
also, since you are constantly changing the height of ur car, wouldnt ur alignment get messed up every time you raised or lowered ur car?

Hey superballs how is your nitrous kit (Zex)? How much of a shot are you running?
Secondly, with the nitrous kit on your car do you go to the dealership ever to get it serviced? I always figured they would refuse to work on my car if I had it so I never bothered...
Can someone with nitrous (wet) tell me the best way to go about it. I dont have a garage so I cant work on my car, I usually take it to the dealership.

i paid like 500 bucks plus installation or somthing... i have a friend that works at the service dept. and is the only one that touchs my car at the dealership. its a 75 shot.. but you should upgrade your spark plugs with more than a 55 shot..
you can definitly go more than 100 with air ride...

"he had air cylinders.... cost him about $1500 installed."
its really only $1500 ? for some reason i expected it to be much more. for that price is that all of the suspension components that are needed? are air bags made specifically for each car, or does the shop just modify it to fit?

well... theres air bags and air cylinders. and for $1500... yea that was all that was needed. as for being mad specifically for each car, the cylinders are universal... meaning they will fit any car.

there is a lot more to air suspension then people know and understand. There are all different kinds of kits and way to hook it up. If you dont do it right or get the right stuff, you can slam the car down hard, or have multiple leaks. Ask uniqueTL and Casper98cl from the CL-S board. They have lotsa experience.

Air cylinders are better than air bags. The ride is just like stock when you have the right ride height and you don't have that sloppy feeling when you corner (although I wouldn't advise aggressive driving). I will say it's going to take a while to work all the leaks out and be thorough doing so b/c you don't want that car dropping on you on the highway as you're doing 70mph. For some good reliable info and if you want to purchase the kit you can call Rob (UniqueTL) at Cemgee Motorsports 973-598-9922. He knows it well having done it at least twice on his TL (2 diff systems) and having worked on my brother's CL (Casper98CL) amoungst other cars.

my cousins camry has air bags and it definitely rides better than my brothers car when it had air cylinders. but bigman is right... there are many different ways to go about it.
