yea a little wheel spin between the gears but it's also the speedo trying to catch up
It was also a really soft launch to make sure I didn't spin through all of first.

Get some g-force kdw. I still had slip in first if I punch it. But I feathered it here. When the kdw's were new I couldn't even chirp 2nd

Nice video!

Not trying to hijack, but I'm probably going to get a set of 235/45/17 g-force kdw's for my next set of tires. Please tell me, is the noise, at some point, as bad as the reviews suggest? Or is it just an individual tolerance thing.

thanks

They don't seem any noisier than anything I have had. It's definitely an individual thing. They were super quiet when I got them but they are a little hum-ish until they reach full warm up (do a burnout every morning )

They run a bit on the wide side so a 235/45 will look pretty beefy, I got 225 because they were a lot cheaper but Im definitely going with a 235 next. These tires are great. And I have tried a lot of performance tires out before them, these are the only ones I would get again for the front.

I run potenzas on the rear for their good lateral grip and longer life

Hmm I suppose I might start my 6 speed swap next year, assuming I can find a cl-s 6 speed.

How are you making the radius rod bushings? I'm going to be changing mine soon and was going to go with the Moogs over OEM. I wish ES made bushing kits for our cars that would be a dream come true.

Thanks for the response. I'm not to worried about noise, all I usually listen for is the whine from the S/C'er.

Great input about the size aspect of the tire. Since I can't find any 235/45/17 locally to eyeball, that info helps in making a determination on what size to get. Every tire store states that they would have to special order them because they are not a 'stock' item.

If you ran the 'beefy' KDW 235's all around on your TL, would you say it looks reasonable or overblown? You know what i'm saying? Symmetrical.

I'm currently running 235/45/17 Toyo Proxes 4's.
thanks

The proxies run small for some reason. The 235/45 kdw would look superb because of the sidwall height. It's actually smaller than most because of the hard tread blocks.

I must let you know that I upgraded to the hankook v12 ventus today and I am thinking they are a way better tire. I'll report after my mountain run this weekend.

I LOVE the Hankook tire. I had the S1 EVO and it was the best summer tire i have ever driven, (and i have driven most) Im going to attempt to stuff a 255 of this new Hankook on my car this summer.
