Well, after about 2 weeks of not driving the TL, I drove this morning on the way to work.

I didn't drive for about 1 week when I was on vacation, and then my wife drove it for a few days.

I truely believe the TL remembers how you drive.. when I got in it, the acceleration was very sluggish.. just needed a bit of a perkalator on the freeway!!

Has anyone noticed a change in the responsiveness of the TL after 1 week of not being driven??

 

I am not sure if the ECU will learn the way you drive it, but I do feel that it makes a difference if you WOT all da time VS drive like a grandmom.

 

Hmm.. I always feel my TL is SUPER fast after not driving it for a week or so. After my trip from china, i drove my TL and WOW! i was like "DID MY DAD ADDED A TURBO OR SOETHING?" haha..
I think it's because after a while of not driving it.. i lost my judgement of how much pressure I should step on that gas pedal..

 

Maybe I'm trippin.. or maybe it was becuase I had to drive a big ass 15' rental truck that went 0-60 in 20 seconds..

 

I didn't drive my TL in June thru Aug coz went back to HK as my summer vaction...when i come back and sat on the driver seat i was like " oh....i miss u a lot" ha.........i really did that

 

wo ho~ 0-60mph in 20 sec..that's how fast TL can go for going backwards.
