for you guys that installed aftermarket spoilers- i'm researching on buying one for my car and having it installed. kinda nervous about doing it. worried about how it's going to attach, specifically how they'll know where to drill, how the holes will be sealed so there's no leaking, or rusting. AND if i buy one with a clear LED on it, where would the power come from for the LED, and is it easy to disable the 3rd Brake like in the window. I'd really appreciate it. -shawn

I help place one on a acura legend it came with a guide outline that you placed on the trunk to mark the place where to drill the holes. I dont think it cost to much extra to have a dealer place it on

I got mine pretty cheap from this guy off ebay. I have his contact info. Also a guy that did a good install for a pretty good price here in NY. I am sure there are others in NJ. MY coworker had his replica TL spoiler installed in NJ near Edison I believe.

I got the clear LED also, it just uses the same power cable. It taps into the regular brake light to get power.

A friend of mine did the same thing and the spoiler was junk, the center would flex easly and movement occured on rough surfaces.

The one I got is good, great quality and everything. About another 15 members from the Acura TL and CL site got it too so we got a better price. The price still stands actually.

i was trying to get ahold of NYDesi80 but, he won't accept PMs or e-mails. he was the one that conducted the group buy for the spoilers on EBAY. they were supposedly good spoilers.

i would have sum1 mount it for me. just for centering and rust issues. im sure it wont be more than 50 bucks
