Aftermarket Shift Knob

So I wanted to change my shift knob, and I thought this one looked cool, I like it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-JDM-60mm-Diamond-Crystal-Bubble-VIP-Style-Shifter-Shift-Knob-Blue-/261284904205?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3cd5cb3d0d&vxp=mtr However Ebay has a "does it fit my car" feature, and it says "This part is not compatible with 2002 Acura TL Base Sedan 4-Door." Why wouldn't this be compatible? I've unscrewed the shift knob before and it looks like 1 out of the 3 adapters would fit it, (they look like the same screw kind of thing). These are the adapter sizes the new shift knobs come with: Adapter Size: 8x1.25, 10x1.25, and 12x1.25. Would one of these be able to screw right on to the existing shifter with one of these adapters?

To each their own, but I prefer OEM to ensure proper fitment. I currently have this one and love it! And this looks more "VIP" in my honest opinion.

8x1.25 will fit our car
