Aftermarket H&R Springs, Quick Questions?
I have a 2003 TLP and I purchased H & R Springs 1.75 [F] and 1.5 [R].
1. Do I need to replace my stock shocks for this modification?
2. Does anyone have pictures of these H & R Springs with Type-S wheels?
3. Will I get the listed drop, or will the car drop beyond H & R's specifications?
Thanks,
Mike Smeezy

1. A lot of TLers don't replace stock shocks when they switch springs, but that is simply because their shocks are newer. However, I would recommend changing your shocks further down the road. You don't need to now because your car is new, but the lowered stance of the car will cause your stock shocks to wear out quicker. I would recommend Koni Yellows.
3. It will be the opposite at first, most likely. The car won't be as low as the specs because the springs take time to settle. Once the springs settle you should be within specified range, give or take a little.

M.Smeezy, the HandR's are the $hit:toothless:...you will be so happy when they take that car off the lift...OMG the drop is awesome in that first minute, then you want more...well i think it drops 1.75 for the front and rear man...its a very even drop with a hint of a rake at some times...good luck and enjoy tha springs...Shyne
P.s.-we cant post pictures unless we pay, so I would help you out if I could:o...

I got mine installed a few weeks back and it's really nice. I take the corners much better now and the looks are awesome. I did bottom out one time though...damn Mcdonald's. I think I'm starting to see some uneven wear on just my back wheels, so I might get a camber kit soon just for the rear wheels.

i got my springs a few weeks ago, but since i got hit and my car's in the shop i haven't had much of a chance to really test out the ride, but for the short time i rode on the springs there were awesome, i could feel the great suspension when making those sharp turns.

H & R Srings Are On
Okay guys (and gals) the H&R Springs are on
My car looks competely sick:yack:
It's a little lower than I expected, but looks to be what H&R states: 1.75 [F] & 1.5 [R].
The car, riding down the freeway, is hardly noticable, maybe 5-10% stiffer.
The ride going over obstacles (such as railroad tracks) is about 10-15% harhers. All in all, much, much better ride then I could of ever imagined. I had my springs installed at body shop in San Jose for $100. I watched them install the springs which took just over an hour, the macahnic (Hung is his name, not his disposition) is a pro, and looked as if he could of installed them blinded folded.
I was delighted to see so many Hondas parked in and around thier shop, made me feel like I had found the right shop, I have AndyTran to thanks for that:p
