Oh no! Don't regret that at all! Remember, other than the roar, it saves gas for you every so often, so no need to feel remorseful.. I mean hey, I love the V2, props to you CaliChris517, but as long as the regular AEM CAI does what's helpful for your wallet (gas consumption), there is definitely no need to feel bad.

I agree, that sounds fantastic.

But I noticed something else. The 4AT's gearing really hurts the 99 TL's acceleration. I never realized there was that much difference. The 5AT really helped a lot in terms of acceleration.

Well I was accelerating up hill... and I wasn’t really trying to push it... I was maybe half way down on the gas pedal... not to mention i had costco premium in the tank... i swear there is a diff. between costco and shell.

I am telling you, i have noticed an increase in my MPG since i have had it installed! maybe 20-40 more a tank... and that is saying something because I am always accelerating and hearing that roar, but somehow i am getting better gas mileage than the stock. YAY FOR ME!

yup yup! the only thing that may be bad for me would be that in cali this year we had an EXTREAMLY LONG AND UNUSUAL rainy season... so since the V2 cant use a bypass.. im a bit scared to drive it next rainy season... maybe have to look into a plain CAI also. lol
