AEM V2 Installed!!

I installed my AEM V2 CAI last night, i love it, the car has a deep growl to it, especially when it hits vtec, and on the highway, its pretty loud, it also has a loud humming noise when in idle. not sure if i feel anymore power or if its just the sound that makes it feel like there is. there is def a lil more torque tho. cant w8 to through the headers and apex cat back on.

make sure you have the radio and navi code availibel. Unplug the negative terminal of your battery for a couple of hours. Plug it back in, take the car and do a few wide open throttle runs. Beat her good. Park and drive the next day, you have just reset the ecu and it will adjust the a/f a lil because of the V2. Try it. Some say it doesnt work, i say it does. It has worked for me.

Congrats on the V2, I've had mine on for about a year and have enjoyed thoroughly thus far.

the aem v2 kicks ass. the humming is the whole "charging the cylinder w/sound frequecy" gimmik they talk about. anyhow, dissconnect your batt. (have navi. and stereo codes ready) and change your plugs. reset batt. and haul ass down freeway. you will notice a definit diff.

Yes, it will fit. I have a '99 and I purchased one from this site. It is actually made for the Accord V6 but fits our cars fine.

yea i thought so, my bad. ok. so the intake connects to a rubber sleeve that connects to the tb rite? on that sleeve there are two holes for what seems to be two hoses that connect to them. then there is one slot for a hose on the intake itself. so alltogether there are 3 places to attach hoses to the aem intake. BUT there are only 2 stock hoses to connect therefore one remains unattached to anything. do you see what im saying now? i think i should take pictures........
