First of all, you guys are the BOMB! Thanks for all of your help. After a month of reading about intakes and your guys experiences, I now have the AEM short ram installed and its the shitz. I love the sound of it at above 3,000rpm and I love the noticable gain. I was wondering however, for anyone else who has the short ram, does the "AEM" sticker read upsidedown? Mine does but oh well. Anyways thanks for all the help!

WTF? Upside down? How do you mean? Is it by mistake? Or is it by design? Can someone scan it in?? I'm curious how *lame* it looks.

Interesting, my CAI had the AEM the other upside down. I took it off anyway and put Vertex Motorsport to support my local pro shop for all the good work they've done for me!

I love the red metallic color! Since my car is white, I'm going for the white and red theme.
It's also nice that my pulleys match my intake.

From a picture of your short ram you posted previously, I see that there is no rubber tubing between your intake pipe and the throttle body. How come it's not there and how did u connect the two? I see you are missing some clamps on the small rubber tube. Additionally, you got 3 big clamps on the filter side of the pipe... All you have is totally different from mine...

Yea, your setup is way different from mine. Like UW, I have two rubber pieces, one holding the airfilter with the tube and one holding the tube with the throttle body. How did you connect the tube to the throttle body (it looks like you used some metal piece to the hold the two)? Also do you guys know that black "u-shaped" thing underneath the airfilter. I know that is supposed to bring air from underneath the car up to the filter, but is that thing restrictive? I'm thinking about taking it out and replacing it with some kind of tubing, but its winter here in Chicago and i dont want to undo my filter. If anybody could check this out i would appreciate it. Thanks!
