I just got a AEM CAI and Im installing it. I got everything on ok except for the filter. The filter fits on the tube but it wont fit while the intake is on the car cause it hits the fog light... What should I do. I pushed the filter as far as it can go and still wont fit.. I pushed it all the way to the bend... I was thinking about cutting the pipe so the filter would be facing downward...

HELP....

 

take out the tube, put the filter in it and theninstall it. maybe that will work.

also.... DO NOT HAVE YOUR HAND ANYWHERE NEAR THE TUBE WITHOUT THE FILTER AND TURN ON THE CAR. even when its at idle, the amount of air it sucks in is tremendous and you hand will definitely get sucked in and cause some real damage if its close enough.

hahaha..... I got it to fit. It took alot of playing around with it til it fit. Sounds awesome when you get into VTEC.....
