for those of you who have the AEM CAI specifically(or maybe Snook), where would you install the bypass valve? The site lists the CAI as a one piece, so does it mate to the throttle body?

I believe you have to cut the tube.

 

I wonder about the same thing. I think you can connect it between the throttle body and the pip but there are some hose that could get in the way.

How does the bypass valve actually work?

 

The CAI I got is two piece. Mounted the bypass between the two pieces. If your's is one-piece, just cut it where my bypass is.
