i know a lot has been posted about the cai kit but i couldnt find the answer to my question...i just wanted to know about if i were to buy a aem cai kit and bought the bypass valve with it, if a shop would do all that **** for me and how much they should be charging...thanks

 

why do you need to have the shop to install the CAI, when you can do it yourself. It is pretty easy and if you need the instruction it is on the FAQ and it is pretty straight forward.

 

i think what he wants to know is if they will put the bypass valve on for him since there is cutting involved and about how much it would run him. thats as much as i can help... i have no idea how much it would cost but my guess would be less than $100.

 

just buy the short ram and the CAI extention (2pc kit). Then there is no cutting involved and like 69tl said, you can do everything yourself. It is very easy. Shouldn't take more than an 1-2 hours if you go reallllllllly slow.
