is it worth buying the bypass valve?

I've heard that the valve sacrafices some power, is that true?

If you have an aem cai, let me know if it's worth it.

 

IMO, the bypass valve for the aem cai is well worth the $40. I rather pay the $40 now then have to pay for a whole new engine later on.:wow:

As a matter of fact, one of the member here (NSXNEXT), had his bypass valve saved his car. I don't have the link right now but I am sure someone saved that link. If anybody have that link, please post it. Thanks!
