Advice on maintenence..trust Belle Tire?
Hi guys, I need some advice...
I took my car in for some maintanence b/c I am going to take my car on a long road trip soon (Michigan to California)
They told me that I needed new rear brake pads and to have my rotors turned. I also needed an alignment and 4 wheel balancing.
Total cost of all that labor would be 255 for the brakes and 79.99 for alignment and 47 for the balancing. Total cost,
ORRRR...
I can go to belle tire and get all that done for 203? Would you guys trust them? Do they do good work on maintenence stuff like this?
Thanks in advance...this forum has yet to let me down

I trusted Belle Tire (Oakland Mall on 14 Mile) to install Proxies4 on my Volk rims. One of those idiots scratched part of the lip on one of my rims. When I got home, I wasn't happy but I've travelled like 40 miles to get home. No point to go back and complain.
One thing they do is tires. Would I trust those guys with important parts like brakes? Probably not. They're all licensed mechanics there (I hope) but when it comes to stuff like that ... I wouldn't trust 'em. I don't think Acura of Ann Arbor is well-liked by the Michigan crew here (eg Pure Adrenaline) -- their service sucks. But ... it's done by an Acura/Honda certified tech. Maybe you can see if the Honda dealer will do it for you? Same parts but lower labor cost. I get my oil changed at the Honda dealer in my town.
