Advice for fixing scratch on door

Some moron scratched my door with theirs. It's not a big scratch but it goes to the metal. There is no dent just the scratch. Can I paint this myself or should I take it to a shop? I don't really want to spend alot of money for one scratch. Should I get a bottle of touch-up paint from the dealer?

Has anyone ever ordered spray paint from paintscratch.com? They supposedly match your paint color from the manufacturer's code and send you a spray can for about $30.

Thanks for the help.

Well you kind of answered your question.

Well if you want to save money, do it yourself. If you want it to look good, take it to a body shop. Body shops don't fill many scratches, they typically repaint the whole panel, and blend in the adjacent panels. Not cheap, but if they're good, it will be good as new.

Paintscratch.com makes really good touchup paint. Make sure you buy the clearcoat too.

Here is a good article on filling paint chips and scratches. Not for the unexperienced, but it is very good if you know what you're doing.
