Advice on buying a 03 TL
I am getting at 2003 TL Navi. It has done 21K Miles and getting for a $19K. With the problems TL has in Transmission is it advisable to buy this car?
It has 6 months of factory warranty left on it and i am not sure if it falls in the 7 yrs 100K transmission warranty.

Call up an Acura dealership and give them the VIN #. They'll tell you if its eligible for the extended transmission warranty.
Then, purchase an AcuraCare extended warranty from our site sponsorer for 4-years/48,000 miles, beginning on the date of purchase, for $1250.

It is not a type S. This is a dealer i am getting this offer from.
Also there is a rip in the driver seat and this is due to crak in the vinyl part of the seat. It is visible so it needs to be fixed as well. Dealer is not willing to get it done. Any idea on how much will it cost.

The milege is great, but maybe look around if you can find a nice typeS with Navi from a private seller.Personally I would be happy if I got 19,000 for my type S and I just hit 20k miles also. imho

So the dealer can probably sell the car tomorrow, as is, for a profit.
With a little work they can make a couple of grand off of it.
