I have PIAA Superwhites and they're a pretty good match. I think the SilverStars will give you a better match.

We use the 9006 bulbs, by the way.

On the advice of others who tried it before me, I got the Sylvania Silverstar bulbs for the fogs. $53 with tax for both at Advance Autoparts. I'm very happy with them. Much brighter, much whiter and a closer match (about as good as I think you can get with halogens) to the HIDs.

chrism, check out this post (scroll down to Jesse888) http://www.acura-tl.com/forum/showth...light=sylvania Bottom line is I don't think you want the 9006xv. You want the 9006ST. If you can get the ST's for $23 bucks a pair, jump on it!

chrism,
changed mine out today ... 10mm bolt on the underside of the nose, directly inside the square cut-out. you'll need about a 6" extension on the socket/nut driver. then on the "wide side" of the fog lamp, from the front i used a flat screwdriver to "pop" it loose. it pivots out (there is a plastic tab on the small side) .. the owner's manual has a nice picture of it. no problems!

daverman. hey thanks a lot for the link. that helped a whole lot. i just put on the sylvania 9006st. trying to find a 10mm socket was horrendous. thank goodness my neighbor had one. it took all but 20 mins. oh, and i burned my finger taking out the old ones, shouldn't have turned them on to see the colors. burn is nothing...no blister yet. but anyways, thanks everyone
