Anyone have the AEM Pulleys on their TL? Any noticeable gains? Any disadvantages such as low voltage from the alternator or degraded performance of the Air Conditioner?

someone reply!! heh..............pulley's r cheap on this website.....only 130$ and after u see the aem diagram on cl-s they gained about 3 hp and 3 torque...i think itd be a good cheap mod

99percent looks 1 percent performance.......makes the power steering pully look real nice...if i were you i woudl buy the set....sell the other pullies and replace the power sterring

From what I read...you get to VTEC quicker but as far as hp gain...very minimal, in the vincinity of like 1-2hp. You also gain some stiffness in your steering. Unorthox Racing is designing one with a crank pulley that is significantly more expensive...but supposed to yield a higher gain. I would highly recommend you going over to acura-cl.com and looking up unorthodox racing pulleys. We are still awaiting independent dynos as far as hp/tq.

I have been looking to get the tru-power pulleys as well and have been reading through numerous threads to see peoples opinions as well.....$130 isn't bad at all and it'll spruce up the engine compartment

from what i had heard fm my friend who had a 2001 prelude, no significance differerence in hp gain. pretty much just a look mod. however, the light will dimmer a bit when the car is idle but back to normal once u're cruising.
