Adding Navi?

Post Adding Navi?

If someone where to get a 99 without navi, and found a wrecked 99 with navi.... would it be wayyy involved to swap????

It would be worth it only if you have plenty of money to do the conversion and plenty of patience. IMO if you are thinking of getting a 99TL and you don't get one with a navigation unit, get an aftermarket setup. The Alpine systems work very well.

But, to rehash, it is not worth it at all.

instead of trading in my non-nav, i went the alpine nav aftermarket route, cost more tho including the monitor but you can transfer it to another car at least

Please remember that the HVAC Controls are in Nav cars. For it to be factory like you would need a new dash also. This is the things that differ Nav & non Nav Acura cars.
Our manual A/C & fan controls are in the Nav.
I am sure that an aftermarket system would be cheaper. It would be so much to do this I don't think anybody would even try.
