Adding an Adjuster to Interior LEDs

Hi all,

I was wondering if any one had installed a dimmer to there footwell lighting?

My friend and I were talking about a bass knob that you attach to your amp and came up with the idea.

I'm planning on doing this project this weekend and was wondering if anyone had done this.

Man... I've been looking around and I can't find a 12v knob adjuster... I checked RadioShack, Kragen, Napa and so on... Does any one have any ideas?
