Add Nav in Non-Nav TL?
Is it possible to take a 2003 TL that does not have a navigation system and install a factory nav system? If so, what does it require? I am not intereted in installing an aftermarket nav system....only factory. Thanks

its definitly possible. if you search this forum there will be a few threads where people has done this. including a friend of mine. all he did was buy the entire factory navi kit off ebay and installed it himself. this process took him about 2 months. the navi itself isnt too hard to get your hands on, but its gonna be a hard task to put in. good luck with it if you do go for it.

With the amount of wiring (non-navi, is not pre-wired for the navi), time, effort and not to talk of the cost of the new navi unit, I will say you are better off going aftermarket.
You can try searching because I remember somebody posting pictures of taking out the the center console and parts of the dash to get it done (I think).
Good luck to you bro.

We have an owner that just finished this conversion project and we'll post the parts list and instructions on my website in the next week or so.
