Add me to the blown tranny group!
Well I thought it couldn't/wouldn't happen to me but it did. When shifting from 1st to 2nd there's a pause in between where it seems to be stuck in neutral and so my engine revs up high before it shifts into 2nd. It occasionally does it from 2nd to 3rd as well. I'm taking my car in tommorrow, since I wasn't able to talk to anyone today.
For the record I have a 2002 TL-S with 24k miles. Most of it were highway miles, but that doesn't matter. I'm glad that Honda/Acura came out with that transmission extended warranty. I was covered anyway, but this way the dealer can't argue with me at all. I just hope I don't get a Neon or something as a loaner.
