acuraautomotiveparts.org "acura carland"

So, i ordered three parts from acuraautomotiveparts.org "Acura Carland" the other day, and was anxiously waiting for the top cover of the steering hub (??) along with two tb gaskets. Total came out to $33, $14 for the cover, and $4 for the gasket!

Box came in today, and i thought, "there is no freakin way that cover part would fit in a 12"x14"x1" box unless its crushed as hell" and sure enough, when i opened it, nothing but the TWO gaskets! I paid $18.35 for two tb gaskets that totaled LESS than $4!!! They just straight up canceled my order for the cover, but still charged me for the shipping and handling charges! WTF! Could of at least called me and asked me if i still wanted to go through with the order!!!

Im sure acuraautomotiveparts.org is big on this site, but anyone have this happen to them? Should have stuck with delray!

relax - i'm positive you've made a mistake at some point in your life. everybody does and so do business owners and employees. give them a call - i'm sure there's a reasonable explanation or a fix.

I hate cars went through a similar fashion with Acuraoemparts.com

I believe that if you dont call to confirm your order, some parts could be on back order and they will not notify you.

So call them and find out what is up with your order.

thing is i checked my account, and not the whole amount was taken out from my account, only the 18 for the gasket. No email or anything on the receipt saying its on back order or anything. I'm hoping its just on back order because there is no way i am going to pay another $14 for shipping and handling.

Maybe it's in a different shipment?

Also, they are the only ones who knows what's going on...you need to contact them if you have concerns.

They have always done an excellent job for me. I live in Atlanta and I ONLY take my car to Carland.... for EVERYTHING, even things like emissions testing.

Give them a call. They are good people, and are very reliable.

I have found the guy that runs the AcuraAutomotiveParts internet parts dept. to be great and very helpful. I'm sure if you just call him everything will get worked out fine.

2 years ago my wife ordered the full set of Acura floor mats as a Christmas present to me. She called like 3 days before Christmas and the guy got it delivered the day before Christmas for the standard shipping charge. He went to extra trouble to get it shipped out ASAP.

Why not just go to your local dealer for parts? They should match any price of another dealer, at least my local dealer does...You have the part same day, or next if it has to be ordered and you can verify you are taking home the correct part.

I buy all my stuff from them to do my six speed swap an that was about 30+ part with no problem. Yes, they are in GA, but they are about 75 miles away from me. I order through website to make it so much easier. I know they ship everything that come in 1st an back order the rest an they only charge you for what you get. The good thing they don't charge you extra on shipping handling fee you just get flat price from total purchase. Just give them call i think guys name is Tim that deal with internet order.
