WooHoo!!!Got my gauges today! Looks like they are slowly making their way to the east coast. I will probably install them tomorrow and post pics of the finished product.
#206
Well, the midwest got theirs today. I guess we will get ours Tuesday or Wednesday in the east. It appears they shipped them ground instead of 2nd day. Oh well, at least they are on their way.

Hey! I am in san diego and STILL have not got my guages! Houston must be almost 2000 miles from the bay area. SD is maybe 400 miles. I am also wondering if maybe my order has gone awry....
Just a little venting here...

liutang,
See if you can find some kind of DC power source with 12V, like a power supply for your laptop or something like that..
The (+) goes inside, and the (-) is on the outside.
I used one for my PDA..
I think Nate used a battery charger..
but you could simply only connect one gauge at a time to your wiring and use a 9V battery..
oh, and don't forget to hold down the black button to make the numbers light up!

There is only one set of gauges that has not been shipped. If your name is Stephen Hsu please email me at natedone@hotmail.com ASAP! You don't have an adress listed with your name so email me your address and your set will be shipped out!

How many of you used the sticky tape? Is it really necessary? I'm thinking of swapping in and out with the silver one as my taste changes.

Not all in the east got it. I haven't gotten it yet in NY. Damn. Nate are we going to get the blue ones casue I may install those istead. I'm only doing the install once, too busy to spend hours on the installation twice. I'm not too prevy to these things, so i'm sure it'll take at least 5 hours. I barely get that much time to sleep. Please let us know ASAP. I'll probably get my two sets of white gauges tomorrow 2/20/02. Thanx.

WTF, I still haven't received my gauges yet! I'm in Houston, and some people received theirs yesterday. Did mine get lost? Did it get stolen? Is there a tracking number so I can call UPS?
Anyone else in Houston not get theirs yet?
Thanks,
Peter.

hey guys. I have a tip for you guys. My needle got stuck and finally i found out why. When you put the gauges over the needle you accedently press it down, so it just got stuck,. if that the case, pull the needle up a little not take the needle out. Yes you need to put the tape but not a lot and be creful with a tape it a pain in an ass.

Okay, I finally called 1-800-pick-ups and talked to a customer service rep. I didn't have a tracking number but gave him my address and HID Vision's address. He was able to track it. Apparently, my usual driver was off and a replacement driver couldn't find my house. The driver then proceeded to change the delivery address to another address they had on record for me (this address is over 2 years old!). So the rep changed the address back to the original. I decided to not take chances and scheduled to pick it up myself at the UPS center sometime tomorrow. We'll see if it all works out.
