One thing that sucks, I'm told that because of the bin Laden mother ****er there is a 2 day wait on all things being shipped out of Taiwan. Add that to your list of reasons to hate that bastard. So they won't actually ship out until tomorrow, which is really today as TW is so far ahead of us time wise.
You mean I can't pick it up when it gets in?

It'll probably take a week to get here from Taiwan by boat. It then has to go through US Customs, probably another week or so. Then get delivered to 4IG a few days after that. They need to unpack the shipment, verify quantity and items, possibly rebox the guages into cartons for shipping, print the shipping labels and contact the shipper - probably another 2-5 days.

With 2nd day shipping, I figure that we still have about another 2-2 1/2 weeks to go...

JustMe, it's being shipped air mail, by boat would take weeks and weeks. I talked to them and they said its shipped and should be in the US this week. Not sure how long the rest of the crap will take, hopefully not long!

I don't think that we are getting two sets anymore. They were so dissapointed in the first white guages they did not go through with the production run.

I guess that we are going to get a switch that will turn on the reverse indiglo feature or not. Anyone have any ideas on where to put the switch? I was thinking under the dash somewhere out of sight.

As you can see, they are white faced. And they are a little wierd. But they are freaking here!!! 4IG will ship them out Monday, hopefully mine will get here Saturday and I can start on installaiton instructions and take more pics.

However, 4IG isn't happy with these. They say these are a little wierd and they are not the color we ordered. 4IG is going to send us all silver ones but without the invertors. The invertors are what cost a lot.

These invertors are like no other out there - they allow the face to glow like normal indiglos and/or the numbers to glow as well, like reverse indiglos. We are the first to ever get these! Though with this set 4IG described them as "trippy".

more pics coming

Are we still getting the silver ones in addition to these white ones or are we just going to get the white ones. Or is it possible that this is jjust a sample and that we are going to get the silver ones instead. Nate, please clarify. I thought we were getting the silver ones.

I don't think that these look all that trippy. If I was shown these and no others, I would buy 'em. However, if they are going to make another set that is sliver, can we try to get the blue to look more purple/blue like the VW?

Heck yeah! I like them. I actually like the white ones more since they match my car better. Can't wait to install these bad boys NEXT WEEK!

So are you saying that we are getting 2 sets of gauge faces (silver & white) and one set of inverters and wiring right? Any idea on the ETA of the silver gauges?

Again, thanks you Nate.

Yes, we are going to get a set of silver gauges in addition to the white ones. However, we will only get one invertor. So you can use the invertor with either the white OR silver gauges. This will make it tough to sell the extra set.

Cool!!!

That means we can keep either white/silver for ourselves and sell the other one w/o invertor. WAHOO!!

I wonder if we could have installation work parties? A group of us get together and do one car at a time. We are bound to get better as we go. We will start with someone elses car than mine! Anyway, if anyone wants to come to San Diego we could meet at my house.

Got em today! 4IG shipped them out yesterday and they got to me this morning at 12. I don't have time to say a lot, but they look sweet when just the markings are lit. Unlit, they are tight looking for white face gauges. The face lighting is wierd, kinda green, hard to explain. They are of high quality, all the markings are the same size and distance, precise. The test set 4IG sent me for the Accord had a few sloppy markings upon close inspection. Anyway, I'll post pics and more details when I get a chance!

Hey Mod King! I would have expected a man of your stature to have had those guages installed and pics of the guages and the extra blue leds/bulb all aglow by now. I mean you have had 18 hours!

hey nate-or anyone who knows:

i see that we are back to getting white face along with the silver we oedered. if that is the case are we:
1. getting the white face first?
if so then
2. when are the silver coming???????

my main concern is the silver. that is what i paid for and really want. i really don't care for the white face, and will probably just get rid of them. please advise on the silver.

thanx for all you've done nate.

That is true...I am willing to overlook the fact that mine wont have the VSA or the correct rpm reading, but if they are white...I feel like Im downgrading my car too much...

Has anyone else gotten their guages? Call me an optimist, but I expect mine today.

Nate, What are your plans? Are you going to put these white ones in or are you waiting for the silver ones? I hope that someone else puts their guages in and post instructions so that I do not have to "break" new ground. Notice "break"...
