Acura Plus
Depends on the dealers you go to...
I would say no, becuase my dealer treats me like $hit. And they will most likely to spend 3 hours BS with you instead of take 30min. to fix your car for you.....

It depends on how much you plan to drive your car and how long you plan to keep it. I will be taking many long trips, and the 7-year/100,000 mile extension made sense for me. Don't take the price they offer you, because it is negotiable. I got my coverage for $1,000 even, and I am sure others have done better.
Before I bought this, I considered purchasing extended warranty coverage from my car insurance company, which was only $60 a year. The problem with them was that they would only cover for related parts (i.e. if my left seat went bad, I would pay the first cost, but if my left seat went bad again, they would cover it). Here's what made it bad: if the left seat went bad twice, I pay for it once. Then, if the Right seat went bad, I would have to pay for it too, because left and right are not related items! (read the fine print). I don't pay a cent if anything goes wrong now (except for normal wear and tear).
Anyhoo, if you are only going to keep the car for 3-4 years, don't buy the warranty extension. If you plan on driving it for a while, get the warranty (heated seats cost $500 each to fix, and are covered)...

To SL1200MK4,
If your dealer treat you like a $hit, why don't you make a phone call to the headquater of Acura in US or Canada and make a complaint about it. I think the Acura would be more concern and serious than some of the fukcing dealers.
One thing I was pissed is that at the same dealer, the sales department treat you like a king but the service department treat you like a dog. To me, it is like heaven and hell. How a a fukcing dealer treat the customers two exterme opposite ways.
