Acura Navigaton Backup DVD
Hi folks,
I am new to this forum.. so will introduce myself..
I am a proud owner of a 2000 Acura TL equipped with GPS.
The question I have is..
I have a backup copy of the navigation DVD v2.49(Black) and would like to burn it onto a DVD.
The size of the data is 7.2 GB and I was wondering what type of DVD media should I use for this burning process.
Should it be DVD-R or DVD+R?
As well as Dual Layer or Double Layer?(not sure what the difference is)
Any other useful information is greatly appreciated..
By the way.. this FORUM ROCKS!!!
Thanks all!

backup copy eh--- there is info in gen3 on the subject, as long as your not making copies for distribution~
It takes some special computer stuff and the trick disc- they didnt design it without some security protection!

Yeah ... looks like the navigation disc has a special format and this is not a simple case of running Nero or Roxio and making a direct copy.
Sorry. thread is closed due to asking about how to 'back-up' proprietary info. It's been discussed before and with similar actions have been done.
