Acura 3.2 TL Type-S
Hi,
I recently test drove an Acura 2003 TL Type-S, and I really liked it. I think this might just be the car for me. With the 2004's coming out soon, what type of price do you think I can get for a 2003 TL Type-S? If at all possible I would like to get one with the navigation system. What type of price should I be able to get with and without the navigation system. Please keep in mind I will not buy for a month. Thanks for your help.

I just bought a 2003 TL-S non-navi, I paid 30k out the door with taxes and tags. In the end I opted for the extended warranty so I paid around 31.5k. With Navi add about 2k to that price.

It really depends on the area, and the dealership.
Mine is the only one in the town, and it's a wealthy area, so they didn't want to budge on the price at all. But after haggling for 3 days, I got it down to 30,200 for an '03 TL Type-S, without Navigation. That's BEFORE TTL. Another dealership, about half an hour away, didn't even want to get into a bidding war. It's just about wealthy area as mine, so they know some dumb housewife will pay full sticker.
But reading stories on the board, it looks like, on average, people are paying about 29,000-30,000 for TL-S, without Navigation.
Good luck.
P.S. www.edmunds.com is a GREAT place. Check it out, and get the True Market Value price. That'll be a good starting point when negotiating on the price.

There is a dealership in my area that just remodeled where I just got my TLS w/navigation. I got the car for invoice 31,010 thas before taxes of course. No other dealer was willing to do this, so I strook the deal after some research. This is of course the TLS w/ navigation.
I guess it all depends on Dealerships.

In The San Francisco Bay Area, $29,000 is about as low as the dealers and brokers will go. Tack on $2,000 for the navi. I landed up buying a pearl white 03 S with navi and 15k miles for a bit over $27,000.
