AC question.

AC question.
Hey guys.
I've been driving to work ( Center City in Philly) for the past week and my AC was working fine. After like 10 min, I had to slow down fan cause was getting realy cold (during afternoon drive to home). However, yesterday it felt like AC was barley doing anything. So, for all folks driving in hot places, do you have same problem? Or is it my AC going down....

Loving my 08 TLS!
If it is really hot, make sure when you turn on the AC also press the circulation button to off mode. That will set only cold air to blow out of your vents.

I live in MS and it's been really hot here this summer. I keep my full auto on 62 and the system blows snowballs. You may need to adjust the temp, however you didn't mention where you have yours set.

No problem with my A/C its hot here in D.C. to pouring down rain now. I run my A/C most of the time except late fall & winter. This is my 2nd summer with the car & I run A/C 100% of the time.
Keep us posted on the problem with yours.

Depending on the humidity of the air being pulled
from outside, you may just need to switch to recirculate. Even with mine on full auto and 62 degrees it stays mostly on recirculation, but on long trips it auto switches to fresh when it is cold enuff inside the car and switches back to recirculation if it gets to warm. You sound as if
you have your system on manual where you control fan speed and vent flow as well as fresh/recir. See if just recirl will help you.

Same Thing Happened to me TODAY
My Air was working fine last night. Then I tried to use it this morning for defrost and it did not kick in. Nor did it start when I hit the Auto button. I usually keep my unit on auto around 65 to 72. Now I guess I am gonna have to get to the dealer some how.
Oh yeah and when I got off work on Friday...The Temp Guage showed 104...Monday is going to SUCK!!
