AC Fan Blower does not work

The AC stopped working while driving. I head a slight pop sound and the fan stopped working. Neither heat nor cold. A local mechanic took the blower motor and tested it with a battery and it worked. He suggested to change the blower motor resistor and the connector. Replace them and it still did not work. Can you please help out.

thats the normal thing to replace- the wire is kind of short and may blow and take resistor with it. acura makes a longer wire and connector kit for 20 bucks

Is there power to the switch? power to the fan?

ck for fan/blower fuse under hood and side of dash (i dont really know where it is but needs 20 amp or more)
If it blew the resistor chances are the fuse blew to protect the rest of the circuit
thats its job!
