AC compressor question
AC compressor question
Can 2G TL (Premium and Type S) AC compressors be rebuilt?
I found a "yes" and a "no" when searching, which then went more towards a "no". I'm looking for a definitive answer before i give up, as i see no replacement parts listed for the compressor unit itself.

anything can be rebuilt--for a price
looked at aftermarket?
be careful with used-been sittin at junkyard compressors
as the rubber seals inside may have dried up
do you have a bad main bearing or what?
look in phone book for auto electrical -alternator rebuilding
its similar..or they may know where to send you

About the only thing that is really serviceable as far as parts for the average person, all i can see is the clutch. But at the price of the parts you could get a new unit from a parts store cheaper.
