Just purchased a 03 Acura TL. Love the car! But I purchased it "as is" and with it came some codes. Using a paper clip I managed to get the codes 51 Motor Lock, 53 Motor stuck on and 94 VSA-TCS control valve sensor. Any ideas where to begin?

 

Hey Cortster, try going to most any auto parts store and have the CEL codes read for free. Check the site's "DIY" sticky for more info on codes and attempt to do a "Search" for ABS related problems. This along with a down loaded service manual would be a good place to start. The information you need is probably here somewhere !

Unfortunately the way to test it is very involved and not something we can really type/tell you to check. You have the manual, so i would follow the testing procedures outlined in the manual and see what you come up with. The code index is on 19-113, Looks like most of it starts on 19-154 to 19-171
