ABS and TCS after adjusting my drop...
Hey all...Fixed up the drop on saturday (Adjustables in replacement of the OE struts) and spent all day adjusting it so it looked just right ![Thumbs Up](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
My whole linkage was a bit rusty so I got some pb blaster and greased lightning and cleaned them up a bit. they're shiny and nice looking
the problem is now when I turn the car on the ABS and TCS lights are on. I haven't ran the codes yet but I don't think i disconnected anything and while I drive it runs fine.
any ideas as to what it could be?

Im going with displaced or damaged wire on wheel speed sensor
or pb residue blocking signal- try brake cleaner on sender ring
make sure the rear tires clear the edge of the fenderlip when shocks are compressed
depending on tire size many are a tight fit-225 clears,,my 235s required some modding to the fender~

x2. Don't know why you would've, but in case you took them out the knuckle, make sure they're installed all the way. Also maybe clean up the ABS ring since if you spent time cleaning stuff up, the dust/dirt/residue could've gotten on the ring and/or sensor. Hopefully you didn't pull on their wires too much, they're a pretty thin gauge under the insulation.

I am having the same problem, although all my suspension is stock and my light come on at random. At first I though it was weather realted because the first few times it came on it was raining, but they were on this morning and we haven't got rain in a week; and afterwork i got a car wash with the underbody and they didn't turn on. On my car the ABS, VSA, and Traction ! light are on. I am going to try cleaning and putting some dialectric grease on the plugs, but I thought I'd would check here first to see if anyone else is having the same problem

stop by a parts store for a code reading
Its possible you soaked the sensors or have a bad wire, but cant say for sure over the modem~
Have seen sensors damaged just in normal brake job!
depending on what the codes say:
try a reset of the ecu- by pulling clock fuse on passenger end of dash for 1 minute

thanks guys!
read the code and it was reading not installed
pulled the ecu and then plugged it back in everything is back to normal again
checked the mounts again and all the wires are in the right places and there isn't anything out of the ordinary

Well I wasn't quite as lucky; I got mine scanned today and I cant remember the code, but the scanner said "4th clutch transmission fluid pressure switch"
What do I do now? Is my trans fubar or can I replace it?

Well I went to the local Acura dealer and bought a new sensor, from the looks of it I think it will be easy to change. I don't think I have damaged anything to worry about it, I only drive my TL maybe once a week and it came on a month or so ago.
